From the Mortgage Desk to Your Front Door

Mark Soto entered the real estate industry in 2000, beginning in mortgage finance as a Senior Loan Originator. During this time he founded The Home Loan Coach, which became a well-regarded name in the Sacramento tri-county area through the significant growth period of 2000–2008. That background gives him a financial fluency that most agents don't have — when Mark talks about your buying power, he's speaking from over a decade of structuring loans on both sides of the transaction.

He earned the nickname "Coach" over an 18-year career as a high school football coach in California, retiring from the sidelines in 2010. That coaching identity stuck because it reflects how he works — relationship-first, process-oriented, and focused on getting people to their goals rather than just closing deals.

The Honor Group, Inc.

In 2011, Mark founded The Honor Group, Inc., a nationally recognized nonprofit that educates youth, coaches, and communities about patriotism while raising funds for injured, ill, and wounded military veterans. He continues to serve as its Executive Director.

The Honor Group organizes the Honor Bowl High School Football Showcase — recognized as one of the premier prep football showcases in America and sponsored by the San Francisco 49ers.

Mark is well known throughout El Dorado, Sacramento, and Placer Counties — not just as a real estate agent, but as a connector, a community figure, and someone whose word carries weight. That reputation is the foundation every client relationship is built on.
